I'M CHARLIE, A HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONAL WITH A PASSION FOR EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND GROWING SMALL BUSINESSES

As an avid traveller I’ve always picked up hospitality work. From cocktail bar tender to working high end functions, you name a hospitality position – I’ve done it. It’s something that I’ve always been passionate about, coming from a hospitality family, and now, from working in multiple countries across the globe I’ve mastered the trade.

For years my dream was to open my own café or restaurant. I love small businesses, I love working in them and growing them so it seemed like the next logical step. However, Covid flipped that dream. The thought of having a fixed venue with bills, overheads, staffing was no longer appealing. Then, by chance one day I came across the green van (Audrey as she is now known) on Facebook and a light bulb moment happened, I knew I was going to turn into a mobile bar.

And so the idea for Pique Bars was born. My own hospitality venue with a twist, with no fixed location we can travel anywhere. 

I love the outdoors, mountains and lakes are my happy place

Pique is French for peak, the peak of a mountain. But it symbolises much more than that in this context. The French see hospitality as a skilled profession, 5 star service is key and to be at the pique of a mountain (for me) is gold. Pique Bars strives for this combination of excellence at each event we service.
